Hey Everyone,
Great event in Austin this week digging into design concepts and how to apply those to SharePoint environments as a developer. I wanted to aggregate all of our presentation decks and sample projects to SkyDrive.
Feel free to download them here:

Stay tuned for future webcasts and events around Public Sector specific content (Accessibility with Silverlight, etc)…
Cheers!

Hi James, I’ve enjoyed the Sharepoint event, but I’m from the “old school” of programming and obviously I’m trying to understand the new way of programming. I do a lot of report creation (Crystal off of DB2 and queries off of Dbase IV) most of the output is in Excel. At the beginning of each month, the Crystal server will automatically will be producing month end report and automatically e-mail them to the users. My question: What can Sharepoint do for us?
Thanks for your time,

Hey David,
Thanks for coming out to the event! Yeah, there are lots of ways you can do rich data analytics, reporting and so on in SharePoint, so it really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.
I know you can integrate your existing Crystal Reports into a SharePoint environment, but keep in mind you can also take more complex reports and start leveraging Silverlight as a way to display data in a more consumable, explorative manner.
Let me know if you’d like some more resources and I’d be happy to provide them!

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
